With 30 years nursing, aged care auditing, and facility management experience Director Michelle Harcourt consults to residential aged care providers. A subject matter expert in residential aged care, Michelle has provided expert evidence in coronial inquests. Her clients include metropolitan and regional providers in the private, not for profit and the public sectors.
As an aged care quality surveyor for 17 years, Michelle brings extensive experience working for the regulators, State Government as well as for approved providers. Michelle’s work has also involved high level policy development, through to working directly with Boards, executive management and staff of services throughout Victoria.

Michelle and her advisory team provide trusted expert consultancy leading to sustainable outcomes. They are passionate about the provision of high quality aged care, and through many years of experience, understands that each service has its unique challenges. Michelle believes that this understanding enables her to target her consultancy to ensure realistic and solution based outcomes are achieved.
Michelle and her team have supported many clients through complex compliance issues, providing actionable advice, leadership and guidance. These services can range from one-day on-site teamwork through to the development of comprehensive action plans. She can also assist with the development of clinical governance frameworks.
Michelle is particularly passionate about regional and rural aged care services and the unique challenges that they have. She has worked with many such providers to achieve compliance working with the challenges of being a regional or rural provider of aged care services.
